Vicky . . .
Vicky has extensive knowledge and experience of the fitness and
wellbeing sector spanning over 13 years in total. Beginning as a Fitness Instructor, Vicky has gained qualifications, and vast experience in the delivery of Personal and group exercise training, specialist exercise prescription for adults with a variety of health conditions and postnatal exercise prescription. In addition to this knowledge, Vicky is an Advanced Pilates instructor and is one of a select group who possess an Advanced 500hr Sivananda Yoga Instructor qualification. Vicky has focussed purely on her Yoga practice for the past 10 years and is fully certified by Yoga Alliance.
In addition to instructing and guiding her students, Vicky continuously benefits from her own daily self-practice of injury preventing, non-forceful Hatha and Ashtanga Yoga. Yoga has taught Vicky how to challenge her mind and body in a non-aggressive, calm and kind manner; something not normally associated with today's fitness industry.
By combining all of the knowledge, skills and experiences of the past 13 years, including working with many people who have illness, injury and health issues, Vicky has developed her own unique style of Yoga practice.
Loved by hundreds of regular participants, Vicky's practices emphasise the therapeutic benefits of Yoga. Practice delivery is adjusted where necessary to meet the energies and need of the group. Practices are dynamic and flowing, incorporating strength, conditioning and core work, and are challenging yet relaxing.
